STAND UP PADDLING
AUGSBURG
For the SirenSUP brand, Verena and I headed to Lake Mandicho in Augsburg, Germany to shoot Stand Up Paddling (SUP) sports photos and product photos. We had two challenges on this shoot. The first: Verena stood on a SUP board for the first time. The second: the pictures were taken in November. That means it was cold. So the goals besides sports photos were not to fall into the water and to use the moody light to produce the most extensive results possible. You can see here that we have achieved our second goal. We also achieved the first goal, as Verena did very well and paddled confidently.

Stand Up Paddling is an exciting and at the same time relaxing water sport, which is practiced both as a leisure activity and on a competitive level. In this SUP photo shoot, I was able to capture the fascination and dynamism of this sport as the paddlers demonstrated their skills on the water. For many athletes, this sport is associated with relaxation when they have the opportunity to enjoy the sunset in the middle of a calm lake.
